How Mississippi Homes, LLC collects consent to send text messages

Who we text

Only the contractors, trades and vendors we have engaged to work on one of our properties. We text them about the jobs assigned to them. We do not send marketing or promotional messages to anyone, and we do not text the general public.

How consent is collected

A contractor gives us their mobile number when they are engaged for work, and the written work agreement they sign before starting includes the consent below. There is no web sign-up form, because these are vendors we engage directly and in person.

We never buy, rent, scrape, import or otherwise acquire phone numbers. Every number in our system was given to us by the person it belongs to, and entered by hand.

The exact wording they agree to

I agree to receive text messages from Mississippi Homes, LLC at the mobile number given above, about jobs assigned to me — including work offers, schedule confirmations and notices that a payment has been issued. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. I can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving these messages, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive these messages is not a condition of being hired.

Stopping the messages

• Reply STOP to any message. The messages stop immediately, and we keep a record that you opted out so that nothing is sent again.
• Reply HELP, or call 601-925-0000, for help.
• Opting out does not affect your work with us. We will reach you by phone instead.
